What are the tehnical considerations to take into account when using motion capture suit?

Calibration: Before using the motion capture suit, it’s important to calibrate it properly to ensure accurate motion tracking. This involves following a specific calibration procedure that is highlighted in our manual.

Range of motion: While our suit is designed to track a wide range of motion, there may be limitations depending on the type of activity being captured. It’s important to be aware of the suit’s range of motion and any potential limitations when planning your motion capture session.

Power supply: Our motion capture suit requires a power source, such as a battery pack, to operate. It’s important to ensure that the suit is sufficiently charged for the duration of the recording session.

Sensor placement: While we have ensured that sensors are fixed in specific locations near the joint by embedding a wired system into the clothing, you still will need to check if, by recording motions, sensors are dislocated (for example, pants slipped down, etc.) When this happens, yous simple adjust the clothing, recalibrate and continue recording.

Data processing: Once the motion capture data has been recorded, it typically needs to be processed and cleaned up before it can be used for animation or other purposes. This may require the use of specialized software and may take some time depending on the complexity of the data. But we can assure you that our captured data is without lagging, so the cleaning process won’t take up much of your time.

These are just a few of the technical considerations that need to be taken into account when using our motion capture suit. Our team will provide guidance and support to ensure that your motion capture session is successful and that you obtain accurate and reliable motion data.
